UMV Welcomes two new board members

UMV Welcomes two new board members!

We welcome Loren Ten Boer as our new The Valley cluster leader and Taylor Mabaga as an at-large board member. Ron Fischer's term as a board member ended but he still serves as Network Leader for the UMV.

Here's some information on Loren and Taylor!

My name is Taylor Mabaga. I grew up in Crawfordsville, IN and graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in elementary and special education. I met my husband, Jim, while attending ISU. He graduated from ISU as well and we continued living in Terre Haute, IN for 8 years after graduation. We have one daughter, Julia, who is 4 years old.

In 2022 we moved to Iowa for Jim’s job.  We live in Clinton, IA and attend CrossView Church in Fulton, IL. I teach special education at River Bend Middle School. I also run the FCA program at RBMS.

I help with the middle school youth group at CrossView Reformed Church and am also a part of the mission team. I led and planned a mission trip for our church and we went in late July to Detroit, MI.

I am so honored to have this amazing opportunity to be a part of ARC and I am looking forward to seeing how God uses me to glorify his kingdom in some way. My favorite Bible verse is Matthew 28:19 and I feel like this is one of the main goals that ARC stands for and I’m so excited to be a part of this community of leaders.

Loren Tenboer is a farmer from Morrison, IL. He and his wife, Connie, are members of Emmanuel Church where he has served as an elder. He is currently serving as a member of the Upper Mississippi Valley Network CKT Team.
