  • Daniel Barnett

    At Large Board Member (2026-2029)

My name is Daniel Barnett, and I reside in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I became a Christian during my junior year of high school after being led by a devoted upperclassman. I don’t dwell on the past, but when I look back, I can clearly see how God has been at work in  my life from the very beginning. He had blessed me throughout my years and has walked me through both the ups and the downs in life. Each year, I’ve grown closer to God and continue to seek out new ways to learn more about Him. I’m an avid Bible reader and regularly follow year-long reading programs to stay grounded in Scripture and deepen my understanding of God’s Word. At Cedar Hills Community Church, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an adult Sunday School teacher where I led classes based on material from well-known Christian authors such as Lee Strobel and Kirk Cameron. I currently serve on our Security team, and volunteer as a video director for our Sunday streaming services, supporting the technical side of worship so others can stay connected to our church family.
